Does The Job September 3, 2010 MD (Costa Mesa, Ca) Very nice and easy to use. It does the job and the layout is as close to a VCR as possible. The only thing I don't like about this DVD/VCR combo is the videotapes that are played in this unit appear in lower quality. The images appear too soft and there are often tracking issues. When these same tapes are played in my other VCR they are clearer with no tracking issues. As far as the DVD's they are crystal clear and record in true to broadcast quality. Just not the best VHS player.
DVD / VCR player recorder August 16, 2010 R. F. W (Wilmington, ma United States) This product works great for converting old VCR
tapes to a DVD disk. Just drop in the tape
and a blank DVD disk, hit the record button
and it takes care of the rest.
Works great!
Shame on Toshiba August 12, 2010 Reviewer 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The VHS player functionality broke after five months with just three plays. Toshiba insisted on a $95 exchange fee because its alleged full warranty is only good for 90 days. What a joke! Shame on you Toshiba!!!
my review August 4, 2010 b.s. in bmo I basicly use it to record vhs tapes to dvd for work,I do on average3-6 per day it works great and was simple to set up. So far so good.
Defective Product July 29, 2010 Diana M. Schroeder (Britton, Michigan United States) From the moment I got it out of the box with broken styrofoam I could tell something was going to be wrong. I was right we hooked it up and the door to the DVD player would not open. It also seemed to be cheaply made in China. BUYER BEWARE.
